I've created a number of lists, transcribed from the census records and from old trade directories. Transcription can be a long and arduous task, so don't be surprised if I've missed a few! Also, as my initial search of the census records was for those with the occupation 'Cowkeeper', those with an alternative title, such as 'Dairyman', won't automatically be included. If you do spot an error or if you know of someone who does not appear here, please do drop me a line with their details and I will add them to the appropriate list.
The sources I have transcribed to date include the following:
I am working on others, but it takes time! I have been a bit liberal when defining the boundary of the city as I wanted to include the township of Garston, where my family had their dairy, and Garston was not incorporated into the city until 1902 - prior to that it was listed in the Lancashire records.

Please note that each line in the census lists is in three parts:

To access these lists, hover your cursor over the 'Liverpool Cowkeepers Records' title in the navigation column on the left of the screen and, when the index appears, click on the list you are interested in. I hope you find the information of interest and possibly of use in tracing your cowkeeping ancestors. If it is, then do drop me a line to let me know. Enjoy!
